How to Mount a Baby Monitor Without Drilling

Honestly, this comes up a lot. You've got the monitor, you've got the nursery sorted, and then you realise — where does the camera actually go?

Drilling into the wall feels like a big commitment, especially if you're renting or you've just repainted. And sticky pads? They either don't hold or they take the paint with them when you remove them.

There are better options.

Shelf mounts

If you've got a shelf, dresser, or bookcase in the room, an angled shelf mount is the easiest fix. It sits on top and tilts the camera down toward the cot. Takes about 30 seconds to set up, no tools, no damage.

Cot mounts

These sit on the cot rail and position the camera directly over your baby. The key thing here is getting one that's made for your specific monitor — a generic mount will technically work but it'll never sit quite right and you'll be adjusting it constantly.

Snoo mounts
