Model-specific VTech baby monitor angled shelf mount for a no-drill setup

How to Mount a Baby Monitor Without Drilling

Published Updated

There are three practical ways to mount a baby monitor without drilling: a model-specific shelf mount, a Snoo or cot mount, or a flexible arm used with a compatible threaded camera or model-specific adapter.

Use the exact camera model

Baby monitor bases that look similar can use different clips, threads and dimensions. Check the model number on the camera or its label, then use our Compatibility Finder. If the exact model is not listed, contact us before ordering.

Shelf mounts

An angled shelf mount sits on a stable shelf or dresser and gives the camera a fixed downward view. It is a no-drill option, but it still needs to be placed where the camera and cord cannot be reached or pulled.

Snoo and cot mounts

Our compatible Snoo, bassinet and cot mounts slide onto the rim. Position the mount at the foot end of the sleep space, away from where it could fall onto the child. Keep cords well out of reach and check the mount regularly.

Flexible mounting arms

A flexible arm is suitable only when the camera already has a compatible thread or is used with the correct model-specific adapter. Do not force a camera into an adapter or assume a similar model will fit.

Wall mounts

Our wall mounts are screw-fixed. They are not a no-drill product. Use fixings suitable for the wall and follow the safety guidance on the product page.

Find your exact model or send us a photo of the camera and model label and we will help confirm the correct mount.
