Short answer: Our baby monitor mounts are not one-size-fits-all.
And that is exactly why we do things differently.
At Clover & Fox Forge, every mount is designed for specific baby monitor models, not “close enough” fits. This page explains how to tell if a mount will fit your camera, why universal mounts often fail, and how we help you choose the right one before you buy.
Why fit matters
Baby monitors might look similar, but small differences make a big impact.
Even between models from the same brand, there can be differences in:
• Base diameter
• Clip shape or locking tabs
• Camera weight and balance
• Cable position
• Lens angle
These small changes are what cause:
• Wobbling
• Slipping
• Poor camera angles
• Mounts that “almost” fit but never feel secure
That’s why we don’t make universal mounts.
How our mounts are different

Each design exists because we needed a better solution ourselves and couldn’t find one that worked.
How to choose the right mount
Step 1. Check your monitor brand
Start with the brand of your baby monitor such as Eufy, VTech, Owlet, TweetyCam and others.
Step 2. Check the exact model number
Model numbers matter. Similar-looking monitors can have different bases or mounts.
You’ll usually find the model number:
• On the back or base of the camera
• On the original box
• In the instruction manual
Step 3. Match it to the product listing
Each of our listings clearly states:
• Exactly which models it fits
• Which models it does not fit
If your model is listed, you’re good to go.
Step 4. Not sure? Send us a photo
If you’re unsure, don’t guess.
Send us a photo of your camera and model number and we’ll check for you before you buy. We’re always happy to help you get the right fit the first time.
Why we don’t do universal mounts
Universal mounts often rely on:
• Adjustable clips
• Pressure or tension
• Flexible arms
• “Close enough” sizing
That can mean:
• Wobble
• Slipping over time
• Poor viewing angles
• Less confidence once your baby is asleep
Our mounts are designed to fit properly without forcing, bending, or hoping for the best.
