VTech baby monitor camera and model-specific mount

How to Find Your VTech Baby Monitor Model Number

Published Updated

VTech uses a lot of similar model numbers, and small differences can change which mount fits. The safest way to choose an accessory is to use the exact model number from the device you are mounting.

For camera mounts and adapters: check the camera

If you are buying a shelf mount, wall mount, Snoo/cot mount or 1/4 inch adapter, use the model number printed on the camera or camera-base label. Do not use the parent-screen model as a substitute.

Enter that full number in our Compatibility Finder. Keep suffixes such as -2 or V2 when they are printed on the label because they can help distinguish versions.

For screen docks: check the parent unit

A screen dock fits the handheld parent unit, so the model number you need is the one printed on the back of the parent unit. Our screen dock listings show the confirmed parent-unit models.

Some larger VTech parent units can look extremely similar, so certain dock listings also include a physical width check. Follow the measurement shown on that product page.

Threaded and non-threaded versions matter

Do not rely on the family name alone. For example, the VTech BM5750HD exists in mounting configurations where the camera base matters. We have separate products for the non-threaded BM5750HD shelf-mount setup and the threaded-base BM5750HD setup.

That is why a photo of the camera base can be more useful than guessing from the monitor name.

What if your exact number is not listed?

Do not order the closest-looking model. Browse our VTech baby monitor mounts and adapters, then send us a clear photo of the device and model label if your number is missing. We can check whether it shares the same physical fit as a model we already support.

If we do not make anything for it yet, our monitor loan program may be an option for developing a new mount, adapter or dock.
